Teaching beekeeping provides an opportunity to extend missionary activity through evangelism and improve the economic and social conditions of each community.

Opportunites to Serve:

Beekeepers for Christ is always looking for volunteers and support partners. You can help partner with us through:

  • Monetary Gifts
  • Equipment Donations
  • Become a Missions Trip Volunteer Instructor
  • Become part of the BFC Team

Domestic Opportunities:

  • Facilitator/Spokesman for the industry, to promote Christian thoughts within the beekeeping Industry.
  • We need beekeepers who are members of various beekeeping associations to encourage their members to get involved in outreach programs both inside and outside the USA.
  • We are looking for beekeepers who can speak to their local clubs to challenge their members to look at outreach thru their own churches. For example, we would encourage you to take a closer look at those places in the world where there is already Christian involvement such as missionary activities through your church to see if teaching beekeeping is relevant to the interest of that particular community.
  • People who are willing to use their skills to teach others beekeeping to provide an opportunity to improve their living conditions and to use this as an opportunity to present the Christian message.
  • Beekeeper’s to look at their own communities to seek out opportunities within their community to teach the younger people beekeeping as a skill or as a hobby in order to produce additional sustainable income for their families and their futures by selling to the local markets. This is a great way to influence people in your community by using honey to create good will and open doors (i.e. give your neighbor a jar of honey) to create an opportunity to share the Christian message.

International Opportunities:

  • Beekeepers, both active and retired who may have an interest in working to challenge members in their beekeeping associations to get involved in outreach programs in other countries.
  • People to check with the different missionary groups currently working in Africa to see if their communities could benefit by duplicating our teaching efforts in those areas.
  • Additionally we need beekeepers who are members of the Christian community to take a special interest in their churches missions and to contact the missionaries supported by their church to look for opportunities to join their mission in order to:
    • Teach to the church members in the country/community they are serving who have an interest in agriculture and beekeeping as a means to further support their families and their local church.
    • to study the community at large in order to put together a teaching program that will include the non-believing community in beekeeping training to further support the local community in a social way which will add economic stimulus to the area where they are functioning. (See Current Ministry, Micah Brown’s report for illustration).
  • Help in identifying other third world countries that might benefit from beekeeping training. BFC will provide a syllabus to help to facilitate the teaching.

It has been our experience that it is just as important to present this beekeeping training opportunity as it is to share the Christian message to the non-believing communities so that the socio-economic fabric of the communities are enhanced. Beekeeping can economically affect a community as a whole.

BBL - Blessed Bee for Life Trading Post and Teaching Center

  • People with various beekeeping skills are welcome to join us as a part of the Uganda ministry team. Trips will be planned as interest develops. This will require volunteering your time, your expertise and providing your own transportation funds.
  • The Blessed Bee for Life facility and personnel will be available as a training center for all countries within Africa. Every country in Africa can send personnel interested in training in beekeeping and business by providing transportation to and from our facility. This training will be provided free of charge. It will be comprised of 4-6 weeks of intensive on-sight, hands on training and working with our personnel at Blessed Bee for Life.

The government provides funds for medication for patients identified with Aides, but there is no food to supplement the medication. Many of these patients take classes provided by BBLTP in an effort to support their families.
  • Financial Support - Raise funds to support this ministry.
    • i. Kei HIV/Aides project
